The First International Congress on Biomedical Engineering and Mathematical Modeling in the Biosciences was held in Quito–Ecuador on June 4-6, 2014. The conference provided the opportunity, for professionals working in the fields of engineering, medicine, biology and mathematics, to share the results of their research and discuss their scientific findings and latest technological trends in biomedical engineering. The event was coorganized by Yachay E.P., SENESCYT and MODEMAT.
